If a profile is worthy, its Experience section tells the back story behind you. Your past history. And from that the reader can glean how your past makes your present and then imagine how your respective futures together can be fruitful. But first you have to convince them about your past. I guess I could say “but I regress.”

Let’s look at your Experience section. This is not a dump from your resume. That’s boring and factoid-y. You are not applying for a job here. No one will hire you solely on your past work. You want to be considered as “the whole package,” so why not spiff up (with honesty) your past experience?

You can add multimedia to the jobs you held in your Experience section and make the section more colorful and expand the depth and breadth of the impression you are trying to create for the reader.

Click the pencil in the top right corner of your Expeience section, then click the pencil in the top right of the job you want to add media to. You can see from the 2 graphics below from my Experience section a number of rich media offerings to entice a reader the scope of what I choose to show.

The last one shows how to add media or a link, your choice.

Yes, it’s that easy: click-click.

Did I say easy? Well, the harder part is deciding what to attach, and how to describe it for the reader to consider watching.

Don’t forget to click “save” to upload to your profile.

Tell me if you followed this to add some media to your Experience section by notifying me in the comments on my blog or on my posts to social media, however you are reading me here.
