I hear so many success stories about business that comes about because of the smart use of LinkedIn. It’s hard for me to hold back pontificating about what you can accomplish on LinkedIn with the right visual mindset and verbal viewpoints.

But for those who do not write regularly, this can be frustrating. Numbing. Petrifying.

All of which my client asked my help after he told me a few months ago that he hated writing his thoughts and besides, who would want to know them?

I lashed out (professionally): get out there and practice. A lot. Fail, stumble, scrape your LinkedIn knee, but pick yourself up and try again. You will never be perfect as you are always morphing, so strive for your current personal best, the more you strive, the more you grow, the more you embrace this progression, you will find it easy to opine, express, query, assess, and address.

His question to me is answered in action, in his journey of self-development and discovery as we all root him on. Today he is not at all ashamed of being vocal on LinkedIn. His imposter syndrome has been clipped. His wide-eyed views are to be enjoyed and learned from.

He made it.

You can too. Find a coach, an accountability partner, emulate others’ successes with adaptation to your personality. Just do it.
