What a week. I had my fill of new business prospects come my way for the new year! Aha, but the acid test is converting inquiring prospects to contractual revenue-based clients.
One may lead to my being a small company’s internal LinkedIn guru.
Intermingled among all this week’s marketing juggle were two return coaching clients who need to hit “refresh” on their LinkedIn profile strategies. One is changing industries, and the other is an entrepreneur whom I always respected as being very introspective, enough to want to brighten and update himself on LinkedIn with his latest venture as a mover-and-a-shaker.
It’s the third time I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with him.
Bonus: he is introducing me to his newly hired assistant who also needs my help.
After 24+ years in my LinkedIn coaching and training, I have helped amazing clientele, and the return of the above 2 clients fits alongside some other remark-able situations in my past: one client hired me to train his entire family of himself plus 3 others. Another one client give my services as a Christmas present to her husband.
My business can be wrapped up with a metaphoric pretty bow, waiting for that ah-ha-moment when the recipient opens the gift.
Sometimes it’s just me gasping too with ah-ha moments as I look back, to the present, and forward, to the clients I got to, get to, and will get to, work with, especially these latest return clients.
Ah, the gifts we entrepreneurs all wish for!
