Good question.

To get to an answer, ask yourself:

  • from whose point of view? yours? your prospects? your referral partners?
  • where are you located? think time zones, and recall our day is their night in Australia.
  • where is your market? one country, or like most of us, global?
  • what time of day (their time) do they need to use it? see second bullet above.
  • what are you offering? is it perishable, durable, time-sensitive, seasonal? needed on an emergency basis?
  • or how well and easily can a prospect or client analyze your offering iteratively, online?
  • can they easily contact you for more information and pricing? email, text, phone, how do you respond to each?
  • In sum, there is no real definitive answer to “what’s the best time to post on LinkedIn?” when you think about all of these together.

If you have not already, you’ll soon decide that a global audience is buying online 24×7, and you  need to be there to greet them, impress them, answer any queries, offer assistance in making the decision to buy from you, be ready to get paid efficiently, and offer support to prospects and clients to make their whole experience user-friendly. Repeatable. On LinkedIn as the platform, the watercooler, for global business ideas and discussion.

So dear reader, find your time, day, week of the month, and be actively posting to be seen, heard, admired, and respected, and especially, remembered. Experiment, mix it up, think openly, have fun, be inventive.

But be in the mix. Or be left in the dust.
