Great moments occur in my Ask Me Anything sessions, and last week’s for Insignia Training was not a disappointment in that regard.

The topic was AI on LinkedIn, how we can now squelch it using ours without our knowing, how it has helped some people on the zoom chat, and I advised them of the whole demise of the tan Community Expert badge.

But the idea remained, there’s no ignoring AI and its platforms.

One woman had a great idea for a post and I encouraged her, but it was a huge topic that she felt adamant about expounding thoroughly. My concern: the post will be so long, so in-depth, so dense that no one would read it.

What could she do?

I advised her to serialize it over several days. Drip in concepts over a week or so, building a case one day at a time, each day on the previous day(s)’ material.

A pure eureka moment, and she was all smiles, and so was I.

She has new resolve to share her perspective. You can do this too.

Start each day’s post with a recap of previous material so newcomers can catch up. End the serial with take-aways they can refer to over time and perfect to their own needs.

A basic, yet overlooked, tip to make smaller parts equal a greater whole.
