In many ways you are a musician. You make disparate notes meld together to sound (and look) melodiously beautiful in all you do: in your business, personal life, among family, colleagues, clients, prospects and friends.

Is that being rash and cacophonic? Is that showing off? I say no.

I believe that the more you practice your craft, instrument, tools, science, or rules we live by  (whatever it is that you offer), the more you can improve it and interpret how it can be enhanced over the last time you played it. It makes you better and your listeners more astute too.

So I suggest you take a look at your LinkedIn profile and shape it to better sound like the music you know you are moved to make, but others need to listen to fully interpret and appreciate.

If that means throwing your instrument(s) into the wind to see how the notes land better in new innovative ways, then by all means, jazz it up, play with the chords, pick up the beat, sway with the melodies, and embrace the risk that making changes to your profile or your business is more harmonic when you are challenged. It may not seem that way at first but eventually you come to terms with it and appreciate its fresh delivery.

I want to make this world a better place for the client, especially for them, and for me too, having hired me. Both parties are always learning their craft(s).

I am about to enter a challenging LinkedIn coaching engagement and I am anxious to test myself and help my client make beautiful music together with me.

Ears open? Mine are.
