Blogger's note: This LinkedIn post on top of Seth Godin's blog entry this morning serves as today's blogpost. It's that good and oh so timely!
Oh thank you Seth Godin. I have been pontificating on this to my LinkedIn clients for years, despite what the gurus advised at the time.
Be “amazing-er,” (my word) as in comfortable enough in your own LinkedIn profile to express “why you” are unique among your competitors, never “what you” with pedestrian factoids.
Accept that the algo is not on your side, and it shifts without notice as the wind blows, so ignore its whims and legends. So, Seth said it and I say: be bold, be real, be memorable, be amazing-er.
