I post every business day because I get stimulated enough every day of the week by something that comes across my screen, enough to commit the time and brain cells to write, and hopefully you come to read me here and learn.

But it’s not just me-to-you.

Let’s make it you-to-your-fellow-blog-readers here (me included of course).

Please comment on my posts. With a story, anecdote, an example of how what I am speaking about resonated with you, in words please, not emojis.

Some of you offer me great viewpoints, for which I thank you.

Most of you do not, and I will ask the following:

  • Comment beyond “great post, Marc” or similar hit-and-runs. That kind of comment is just like an emoji–it tells me nothing about how you gained new insight. It tells your fellow blog readers nothing either.
  • Why did you like it? In words. Not that you liked it. I’ll ask only this:
  • Raise the bar for yourself, your connections, and your followers. Please take the time to comment in words why a post made you think, what it made you think about, and how you can implement its ideas.
  • And then when someone else comments, take a moment to comment back to them, which will add to their comment, and you have made it an enriching conversation.

Let’s try it. Isn’t that what we are here for, learning, collaborating, and adapting to new thoughts?
