I’m chiefly pissed. 49-er so out of 50, on the P-O scale.
I receive so many BS connection requests and spammy invitations to buy this, try that, or attend a session to learn something or to learn how not to do something, from people I do not know.
I am tired of these wasteful machine-gun sprays of electrons, sent by invisible LinkedIn members hoping one BS invitation will stick on the proverbial wall.
I had advocated here that you report them to LinkedIn and I followed my own advice. But I am sorry to tell you that LinkedIn did nothing, they disagreed with my assessment of spam or offensive language or odd behaviors, and every single time!
“They,” as in a LinkedIn-bred bot or internal AI-algo, IMHO programmed wrong, erroneous in judgment and/or untrustworthy to do anything, obviously. Not very artificially intelligent at all.
So from now on, I will save my time and sanity.
I will no longer report them to LinkedIn. It’s a lost cause. I will only block the perps. Period.
I have run out of flying monkeys to assign the mission to torment the senders. (Even the monkeys are emotionally disturbed.)
There, I said it.
