- What of all 1 billion people on LinkedIn were realistic and earnest in their using it to increase our mutual business prospects?
- What if LinkedIn really enforced its mandate to us and fully investigated every fake, BS profile and eradicated all the fake charlatans?
- What if LinkedIn actually encouraged us LinkedIn coaches and trainers to help them as their eyes and ears on the ground?
- What if LinkedIn were easier to use and more intuitive rather than hiding some things we could all use but make them hard to find and employ for our collective good?
- What if LinkedIn allowed us to default, at our own doing, to the most recent posts rather than the “top” ones they want us to see? Ahem, “top” is defined as???
- What if LinkedIn brought back the details and notes we could place there for our own use, making it a one-stop place to refer to when contacting and interacting with a prospect or connection most expeditiously–remember that oldie but goodie they took away?
- What if we all could keep up with he now over 150 changes in the past 11 months all in one place for our reference, in the Help Center?
- What if LinkedIn charged less for subscriptions and thus sold more to those who wanted to avail themselves but find the price disorientingly high?
- What if LinkedIn rolled out all the latest changes universally and with full disclosure in the LinkedIn blog instead of the ham-handed way they plop the change into some countries and to some clients without any preadvice?
- And finally, what if LinkedIn was a place to opine, curate, and comment on material without any fear of judgement, verbal reprisal, devoid of fear?
Just a few what-ifs.
