I made a new contact, Caelan Huntress, available to me via the power of zoom, across oceans, time zones, and the equator, in New Zealand, at a zoom networking group meeting, and after a few minutes in a breakout room, we decided we needed to further explore how we could help each other.
(That’s the purpose of the world of networking right? If you do not agree, you’re not doing it right IMHO).
So we set a date and time, he forwarded a zoom invitation, and since I always arrive a minute or two earlier than the appointed time, I was delighted to see notice this waiting for me.
He set the tone. And very well.
The notice above is a brilliant move on his part, and I am not surprised, given he is a marketing expert, a digital nomad, a former performer (in a circus, and isn’t that cool?) and he proved again to be an engaging and stimulating conversation partner.
He is an expert storyteller and a catalyst offering the best we have to project for ourselves, so the connection was immediately reinforced. Enough that we plan to do something together, so stay tuned. Be sure to check out Caelan’s website too!
