Often you may ask yourself, “how can I stand out?” “What can I do to yell into the abysss when the noise is already deafening?”
Because you have to tell why you (on LInkedIn and everywhere you open your mouth and your face appears).
Consider a few “whys”:
- Why is your approach unique?
- Why are you more qualified than the competitor to grab that business?
- Why has your past made you who you are today?
- Why are you so worthy of spending a part of your future with a new client based on who you are today?
- Why you among the competitors you face?
- Why do you do what you do?
- Why do we subject ouselves to the entrepreneurial hunt?
- Why, with these ups and downs?
In our glory, we win because we did it ourselves. In our defeat, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
If there’re more downs than ups, OK, you fell off the proverbial horse. So what do you do?
You climb back on and ride further. You may fall again. Or not.
For me, 22 years’ entrepreneurship is more like a roller coaster ride than a horse gallop. Excruciatingly slow climbs and gut-wrenching declines, yet at the pit of the valley you rise up the mountain to repeat the cycle again.
You chose this way of life. Embrace it and optmize it. Never despair.
Move toward the light.
Be this sprout ever pushing up through a tiny crack in my blacktop. Persevere.
