I had another household maintenance task to do, this time on my roof.

I’ve spoken about my perception from an unfamiliar perspective here, almost 7 years ago in a previous blogpost.

The physical view has changed little. It’s still oddly quiet up there.

But my viewpoints have matured and improved, I’d like to think, like a fine wine.

I have new emphasis on new topics, have added new family members,  learned new skills and improved others, burnished old business colleague relationships, and as we all know how much the world has changed in the past 7 years, I bring that experience with me and optimism of a bright future with my new-found pandemic-era video friends around the world, nourishing me. That’s what I was thinking up on the roof surveying a new vista as I wrote this post in my head.

A physical structure like a roof perch is a wonderful place to reimagine a real and virtual world of opportunity.
