You pick off one flower after nurturing it along for so long, and two more come in to take its place.

Because zinnias are made to flower, and so vibrantly, their flowers are integral to the pollinators’ role in the ecosystem (proper use of that word, I may add!), and they await for the idea conditions to let their seeds return again and complete the cycle.
