I cannot tell you how many times when prepping for my first session with a client, I find they have multiple half-finished LinkedIn profiles.

Perhaps they started one, the phone rang or another distraction made them stop, and then they restarted another new profile later.

One client had 7!

Uh-oh.

How will someone believe you are sufficiently impressive, enough to contact you, if you leave trails of breadcrumbs all over LinkedIn, but nothing substantive?

Take the time to search for your name on LinkedIn in the search bar at the top left of any page and if you find multiple profiles you started but never made headway, head over to this link from LinkedIn Help to remove your mini-me’s.

Concentrate on building the singular professional, deliberate personal profile you want to represent you as a great connection.

Brand yourself, not yourselves, on LinkedIn.
