A recruiter using the LinkedIn premium service for that industry needed my help getting her help.
Just a few questions for a human was all she needed, but this illustrates what happened after 3 weeks of asking (true story):

Premium services get extra TLC from LinkedIn. You get what you pay for.
But you knew that already, right?
Postscript: Laurie reports: “It was a great conversation. Very nice person – and now I have her contact information.”

Unfortunately you are right, Marc. You get what you pay for. But even when I do pay for things (and not have a guide like Marc), I have a very difficult time reaching a “human” and even when I do, it is someone who is talking to me from a foreign country, with a foreign accent and with a bad connection. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Verizon + Optimum trying to switch providers and “port” our telephone number. As Nelson Mandela said “It always seems impossible until it is done.”
