Tomorrow being April 1st, and folks, this is NOT an April Fool’s joke, I wanted to let you know that I will be taking a break from blogging and a lot of the usual verve I bring you, temporarily, until mid-May.

As you know, for the past 2 weeks I have been borrowing “oldies but goodies” from past years’ posts and repurposing them here. Many of you never saw them, have been kind enough to comment on them, and share them with others. They are timeless in message (hopefully) and I trust resurrecting them for you from the “published” files has helped more than a few ideas pop in your heads.

BTW, this blogpost is number 2841. Yes, indeed, a big number, IMHO. But there are no more posts until mid-May. But I shall return!

By then I would have celebrated a few milestones: completed 15 years as a LinkedIn coach/trainer, and 22 and a half years as an entrepreneur, and just over 14 years in corporate America before all that. Even with some of these period overlapping, it’s a career journey of a lifetime of giving more than I received, firmly believing that what goes around comes around.

It’s my reflecting on culminating 3 of my own businesses, authoring 2 books, guesting on innumerable podcasts, contributing dozens of articles,. asked to join panel discussions by some of the best organizations in the business, and after all that, while it still is my passion, I am deciding to give myself a break to recollect and reflect on my continuing work, and you will (I promise!) see pontificating me again here, although a little less rigorously than I have been in the past. This energizer bunny wonders how it will feel when I take my foot off the gas, but we shall see…

Until mid-May, when I see you again, thanks for being here to read me, hire me, and root me on.

As I always say, my past makes my present, and my present is hinting at my future, and thus, I shall return.
