I am social commentary-ed out.

I cannot keep up with the machine gun fire of things to read and absorb that pop on my screen(s).

My good friends send me things to read so we can discuss and rise to a higher level of collective thought. They mean so well, I just cannot prioritize what to read first and by the time I get to some of these items, they are stale. It reminds me of the old days when we subscribed to magazines that arrived in the mail to be placed in a stack with other ones we neglected.

One place I do make it my business to read, is in my line of business: LinkedIn, from coopetors’ posts, messages, and posts, and I endeavor to comment on their thoughts with “atta-boy/girl” (uh oh is that PC these days?)

So if I do not comment back, it’s my bad. If I do comment back, I will promise you that I took the time to carefully think about what you said and pay it qualitative respect to your, and my, connections’ attentions.
