I received a spammy, botty, shotgunblasty message on LinkedIn:

So I tried to get LinkedIn to do what it should do. Normally I would report this person and block them forever..

But I am finding LinkedIn increasingly comes back with an error message.

So I had to send LinkedIn a message and include the offender by reference.

And as I waited for a reply from the gnomes behind the LinkedIn scene, this came from the unlovely Susan Man (if that’s their real name):

2 of them in rapid succession (aha, I stroked that guilt nerve if they have guilt or a nerve at all), and as you can see my reply to them, asked, professionally to STOP:

and then their reply to me that crowns their achievement at professional networking communication:

So I muted them if I can’t block and report them.

I await LinkedIn…More to follow, if anything is to happen at all…

Blogger’s note: Kinda odd to be called a rude old man, and perhaps they actually did read my profile to ascertain my age, but the rude part? Not giving them what they expected–is that rude?

As if social media makes namecalling palatable.

Onward to engage with intelligent people I surround myself with.

Moral of the story, be professional. Let them act as they are, if they actually are real. This one is real, I suppose, someone I really do not want to connect to.
