Timing! Last week I started by attending the last days of a family wedding. In the bride’s family tradition, it was a multi-day event, with so much to enjoy. Tired, we drove home, and stopped off to see someone in the last days of life.
From glorious happiness to abject sadness.
Fortunately, I had timed my blogposts, scheduled to auto post on my Home Page. If you did not notice, one did not appear because LinkedIn and WordPress decided not to tango at the same tempo. That post is coming back to life tomorrow, as if resurrected through time.
Whirlwinds rhythmically flow in both directions: relentlessly clockwise with the passage of time, counterclockwise when time needs to be reflected upon.
Now to catch up with comments on others’ last week posts, meetings postponed. And I thank you who expressed empathy and appreciated for my need for alone time.
The funeral, family, come and gone.
As I emerge, my time this week may also be truncated, the whirlwind of thoughts and memories in a counterclockwise direction. I am dedicated to pushing forward when, and as I can.
“Life is for the living,” as my father-in-law used to say so well, this time, and again and again.
