May First.
According to Britannica, “May Day, a day commemorating the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement, observed in many countries on May 1.”
But I am thinking of another meaning of mayday. As in “help needed:”
- I am seeing so many profiles that are not allowing the owner to be perceived as a high flyer worthy of being followed, connected, or engaged with, as they are plunging to the ground.
- I get a sinking feeling that some profiles I read do not keep the persona of the owner afloat, much less moving forward across the waves of business.
They need help. Right away. Well, I am here to say that help is available on LinkedIn: And with minimal labor (or labour).
- ask a friend or colleague with a pretty respectable profile for advice on the wind beneath their wings
- ask in a post for advice, and it will come in a tsunami
- ask LinkedIn on its Help function (pretty darned good if I may add) 24x7x366
- ask @LinkedInHelp on X (formerly Twitter) or
- ask a LinkedIn coach, trainer, guru, whatever about 1000 of us around the world call ourselves, we are more than willing to educate and add our special sauce to making you navigate a global business platform of over 1 billion professionals.
Just ask. Don’t wing it.
