Even if you do not live along a swath of total or near-total lunar eclipse like we will have this afternoon, you will still need to monitor the position of your competitors and keep them in your shadow.

Sure, you can keep them in sight, but best to do so to the point that the very thought of you blocks them from your prospects’ and clients’ minds. You want to be the only bright one they can think of, burning into their memories.

OK, the preceding is a stretch, but I was trying to be timely. There will not be another total eclipse of the sun here until 2044, by which time I will be so old that the younger LinkedIn coaching folk will eclipse me.

Local folks, remember, do not look at the eclipse even through your smartphone. It will ruin your eyesight and the phone’s camera. A PSA….
