Posts are words of impress you make on others. I’ve said this before: the ones that get comments and see greater activity are those that:

  • tell others something they do not know but should
  • make others feel ways they have not yet, but like you, they should too
  • make others believe what they have not become faithful to, but should, following your deeper impressions
  • get others to act for themselves or on your behalf, because action is the best medicine to get involved.

If you post something and eventually it gets picked up by people you do not know, do you pursue connectivity?

Do you research where the common connection is and thank that person? Do you think that person might look at you in a better light? Do you think they may be more apt to comment on your post? Did you ask them to (“act” from the above 4 bullet points)?

Tell something new, spread the feeling, encourage the feeling, ask them to do something.

Thank them. Reciprocate. Be a mensch
