You get bombarded with posts from people you know (or may not know), all day long.
They come in waves. And in those waves are 2 connections’ posts:

The one above posts all at once, as if to get the chore over with, so it would seem. What do each of them contain? It’s  a mystery. I am not sure I want to spend the time to open the clump of them to decide which (or any if at all) to open.

I have no hunch what the bunch of posts’ punch is enticing me to munch on. So I crunch my brow and go off to lunch. 

Perry posts once, then circles back later and posts again, and still later returns to finish the day’s posts. Each time I see exactly what he is starting his post with, I can decide which, some, or all to look at, open and comment. based on the first few lines of his posts. Each gets my attention. That’s a smarter way, isn’t it? 

I suggest you see yourself from your reader’s POV, or risk not being viewed at all.

You have to earn their interest every time they consider clicking further to read your post in its entirety.
