I over-think. I can’t help it. Not because I am any more cerebral than you or anyone else, but because as a solopreneur, I am responsible. For everything. For myself. For what I tell you. For what you tell others when you share my material.
A tall calling.
So without stymieing myself and saying nothing useful, for fear of being responsible for more than I can control, I give myself permission to be me.
On my LinkedIn profile, on my posts, in comments to others.
You can too. In your own way, without the fear of being too conservative, or holding back so as to be uninteresting, uninformative, unclear, undutiful, underwater.
Boldly go where others may not have gone before and trek into new territory.
Test yourself and ace the assignment.
Don’t underthink that you are less than the others, that no one cares about what you have to say. Make them care. Be a touch above par and thus recognized for your contribution to the global watercooler of thought that LinkedIn is.
You can and should be you; show why you are worthy. In commenting on others’ posts. In posting your own observations. In adding clarity amid the noise.
Demonstrate why to be awed with you.
