In last week’s blog post, Seth Godin again hit a momentary nerve for me (and I hope you!) from which I will excerpt:

Often, we assume that today’s snapshot is actually the entire movie, but it rarely is.

Yes, you could never have gotten to where you are today in your career without the sum total of experiences and skills you collected along the way.

From those who affected you in a uniquely positive nourishing way, and yes, from those who made you miserable from whose toxicity you emerged stronger.

From situations that seemed impossible to endure, yet you emerged victorious and better off for future use, and from those shining moments when you gasped inwardly and thought, “I won and will always remember this moment!”

Your past makes your present.

You will build on your past and present and then you can imagine, fashion, plan, and journey to your reach your future, yes with speedbumps along the way, but ever getting to a point in the future you did not anticipate, yet you arrived, as a result of why you do what you did/do so well…and will do so well, that you offer others to help them while you grow further.

Aim at that time line of accomplishment in retrospect, in circumspect, and in prospect. As a continuum of your why.

Now tell us on your LinkedIn profile and in every comment and post you add: why you?

Make us see the total time your spent/spend/will spend nourishing us as you flourish in the moments we share with you.
