Stop gaming the LinkedIn algo. No one really understands it or knows it outside of Microsoft/LinkedIn (and it’s their secret sauce), and few even know how to test it to be sure their foggy perspective is perceptive. And then they are reporting changes after-the-fact, sometimes way after. And it’s probably already changed in the interim.
It gobbles and slurps, frequently. In fits and starts, in jerks and lurches, sometimes dramatically, other times subtly. But you can’t keep up, and it’s not worth trying. Don’t act like an automaton, feeding the algo which only frustrates as you serve a fickle master.
Be a human contributor to the other human connections, followers, and readers of your thinking. Share, applaud, comment, converse, discuss professionally (in words, why you liked / agreed / disagreed / appreciated). I don’t speak emoji and neither do you. To tell us why to follow you, on a consistent high-quality basis is the best way to impress. And be referred.
Smooth as silk.
OK? Today’s post, short and sweet.
