In a resume, we are crammed into 2 pages and preset constructs to tell our story in a resume, oy, in bullet points and factoids!

Most are hardly interesting, made cookie-cutter and bland. Are you? How can you exude your human traits and skills?

You have ample room to tell your story on LinkedIn, as a complement to your resume, in your own words, intonation, use of rich, personalized language, graphics, video, audio, etc.

This is not the lackluster clinical science of filling in the blanks to proceed to the next step; rather, it’s the fine art of fashioning each section to reflect your true humanity, your persona, your skillset, your experience that makes you who you are today.

You can also hint at your future. That’s what we are looking to engage with, right?

So tell me, what other medium allows you to be the real you, a fascinating professional person, other than LinkedIn, to attract now 985 million other businesspeople?

I’ll give you some time to think about your answer.

Time’s up.

No where else!

LinkedIn is your canvas. Paint yourself.
