If you do not pay for a LinkedIn subscription, the rules changed last week. And not for the better, IMHO. However, it seems the same goes even if you do pay for a Sales Nav subscription.

Here goes:

You only get to make personalized 10 connection requests a month.

Yup.

Not sure what the thought process is unless they want to alienate people and force them to buy a (bigger?) subscription.

I am not a fan of this change, and as I have stated before, I do not pay for LinkedIn and have done fine without doing so for years.

Maybe people like me are the target of this pricing strategy.

But I keep hearing so much displeasure from clients and seminar attendees in my Q&A over using LinkedIn-it’s too hard–it’s wonky–it’s impossible to keep up with–(perhaps LinkedIn does not hear these laments) and this will not help matters at all.

But as they say about the big gorilla….
