Twice this week I arranged a successful connection, twice, between 2 pairs of pros.
One needed a {position} that was a rare commodity and asked for help within a networking group I am associated with, and I had the right (at least I think so) candidate that seems to be winning the contest for the business.
Then later I listened to a presentation and heard that the speaker was looking for one more aspect among a vendor who could provide an extremely specific service. My brain raced through the names and people in another networking group whose 1 member had that exact service. Intros made, let’s hope both parties find this as exciting as I am about it.
All e-intros were made via LinkedIn messaging so their creds and skillsets could be analyzed with minimal effort and in context. No popularity contest, just a recitation of their capabilities from their own self-branded perspectives.
I hope all 4 can use my help well and effectively to gain traction. Freely offered of course.
It’s what we networkers do.
