The top card containing your banner, name, headshot, headline, and other alluring material to pique the interest of the most casual profile reader is essential.
But it is static.
You rarely change it. Admit it.
The Featured section is designed for you to continually update.
Show a larger-sized graphic, a link and some short narrative about what you are up to. Featuring you.
You only get 3 and a tiny sliver of the fourth of them before the lazy reader can see the older ones. That means the reader has to want to expend brain cells, calories, and muscles to click the forward arrow.
So keep the reader allured and keep the Feature section up to speed with your career.
I do. I feature the latest podcast I guested on, and follow with the two animations I commissioned.
Up to speed, up to par, up to date. Take advantage of it.
