You can stealth around LinkedIn if you want. I don’t advocate it, but it’s your choice and LinkedIn lets you do it.

Besides, I will bet you a cup of virtual coffee that nearly no one looks to see who looked at their profile, so why hide yourself anyway?

Why don’t you want to go “open kimono” with the people and companies you look at?

But I guess in some job search situations, this might be reasonable.

Generally, if you have a legitimate reason to look at a profile, do it. If not, don’t do it, I say.
