The “good stuff,” as I like to call it, is getting harder to find, but I will show you where to look in the next few blog posts.

downarrow_LinkedInRight next to the “send a message” bar on any connection’s personal profile page, you will see an adjacent button with a downward pointing arrow.

Click that and a dropdown box with some powerful functionality appears.

Share profile:

This is ideal for introducing 2 or more colleagues to each other. In fact, the other day as I discussed someone I knew that could be helpful in a project on a Google Hangout, 2 colleagues asked to meet that person.

No better way than to put forward one person’s LinkedIn profile to the other(s) than using this Share Profile routine.

I added my personal comments so all could see why I was introducing them, cc’d the referral (don’t forget to do this!) and sent it off in hopes of more connect2collaborate magic using LinkedIn.
