MWHteachingtofullhouse1We had over 80 underemployed people attend a session I gave the other day.

Every speaker loves a full house. The sponsors were amazed.

Cool, huh? but perhaps not: is this a sad commentary that there is such a demand for knowledge about using LinkedIn for the underemployed and (alas!) not enough supply. And that so many are still not working to their potential in an improving economy?

To the underemployed out there, think carefully about how you come across on LinkedIn. If you missed the session, some of my messages were:

  • Do you stand out from the crowd of competitors?
  • Or did you take the easy way out and copy/paste portions of your resume in the section of the LinkedIn profile just to get a presence on LinkedIn?
  • Do you demonstrate WHY YOU in your past dictating your present and your present determining your future?

Please take a sharper look at your LinkedIn profile. Do it now, please.

Not underemployed? Think about the above anyway!
