Probably like you, I resisted a new headshot.
Months ago I met a photographer who specializes in photographing business professionals (sounds better than “shooting” them), whom I liked immediately.
I sent some clients to him after looking at his portfolio and they were very pleased.
So I finally took the plunge. It took 2 1/2 hours one warm morning last month, was painless and actually a lot of fun.
I ventured into the “shoot” with the mindset it is an investment. The dividends are great, if I may say so.
From 51 initial photos to choose from, I narrowed to 10 then 5 then 3. He sent me 3 versions of each final shot. The second one (see graphic) was already sized properly to become my LinkedIn headshot. The rest have been used to refresh my other connect2collaborate marketing materials.
August was the month of a new headshot, a new logo, new press coverage: in sum, a new “me.”
I am so pleased I updated my image. If you need a refreshed image, start with a headshot. Find a photographer you trust, and schedule a “shoot” soon.

It was a great headshot session, Marc. You made it easy to shoot great pictures.
