Yesterday I showed you how to capture your own shortened LinkedIn URL (repeated here).
Once you own it, show it on your website, resume, blog, email signature, slides, marketing materials, business cards, etc. to make you look more polished.
Or you can opt to use any of the LinkedIn plugins in the same online places to link to your profile. Here’s an example of one of them:
Use your URL and/or plug-in often so visitors to your profile can click on and see the latest and greatest description of you and your work.
Never be reluctant to tell about yourself and make it easier for someone to learn about you.
