LinkedIn gives us quite a few methods of communicating. Special are ways to use our voice, as in speaking our message.
Used well, you can choose any of them and have the desired impact on the recipient. Long distances know no boundary any more. Take these gifts and adapt them to your needs.
This week I received heart-warming messages via:
- Voice recordings from friends who are fellow LinkedIn coaches in Australia and New Zealand
- Video of three great musketeers together in the Netherlands who they took the time to compliment me by including me in their rollicking conversation
- Quick quips on questions I queried.
- Vocal notes on my LinkedIn posts, to show me that I am having a positive effect in my readers and as such they converse back to add their light to mine
- And since messages go two ways, I comment and add value whenever I can on posts that may invoke me to do so, or posts where I see I can, uninvited. Sometimes in electronic sound and in my words with my intonation for emphasis.
We are given the tools to use. Let’s perfect them.
I am a firm believer that our world gets smaller with every conversation and comment we add. And the human condition is enriched by the cross of cultures and nationalities, coming together to have a place to do so.
Kum-ba-yah?
Not to me!
Tell me a story where you had a breakthrough in a conversation with someone different than you.
Dare to share.
