It’s early December.
Time for retrospection on the year past. I’ve already talked about that here. Reminder: it’s worthy of careful contemplation.
Time for introspective anticipation of the next year’s opportunities and how to manage them. Here’s a glimpse at what I am dreaming up, on the clean slate for the new year, as an example:
- great upside with a company that I was introduced to, and in our first meeting I dispelled some incorrect impressions they had and offered perceptions to succeed in their goals with fresh ideas, saving them money too! Dare I sense a fruitful relationship budding?
- sketching out a speaking opportunity with another edtech provider to train internally
- initiating a consultative speaking role at a nonprofit to help their clients soar higher
- speaking of speaking, I scheduled about a dozen podcast guest spots with new connections and fresh educational sessions with various industry organizations
- storyboarding some new material for a possible new book (am I nuts?)
- thinking about how to repurpose some of my best blog posts into an online book of some sorts (I must be nuts)
- and continuing to network up to people I can learn from, collaborate with them as co-presenters, give them 51 to their 49 (although so far they always give over 51, so I may have met the right folks and need to even it up 50-50) to co-benefit and comingle ideas
Just a few of the things I see in my looking glass to start a fresh and open slate, the right path to provide my thoughts to those who can benefit in the coming year.
What are you thinking of offering in 2024?
