Summer’s a fun time to regenerate and relax.
Summer’s also a time to sit back and let some things slide. “It can wait until after Labor Day, then we get serious,” many think, and delay.
OK, we are at September 6th now and your vision may have shifted to autumn housekeeping, and the year-end numbers, now that school is back in operation, and you re-energized with new focus.
Focus, I said.
How do you appear on LinkedIn?
Dull, drab, boring, with facts cluttering an impression that you are an amiable and effective leader?
Or with a personal narrative that you used to weave the themes and overtures in your career so far into a tapestry or symphony that tells your “why I do what I do” story?
Ask a friend or colleague, “Does my LinkedIn profile accurately portray me as you know me and my work?”
You may not like the answer.
Then you need objective help from someone in that space on a daily basis.
