You may not have added some sections on your LinkedIn profile. And you never knew they existed unless you looked.
So find the white “add profile section” button (underneath the number of connections) in the “top card” on your profile page and then open all the little dropdown options. See the section called Featured? Or how about Publications, to name two to add.
Think carefully, how can you reiterate principal factors in your career by rewording them in various places on your profile. What sections do you need to add?
Is this repetitious? Not really, it’s just being practical because most casual readers of your profile will not absorb your most important take-aways on the first reading, so you need to reiterate them (not repeat verbatim).
But as I always say, if you don’t tell us (a few times), we will never know. You must be creative and impressive in how you do this throughout your LinkedIn profile.
Find and use all the sections of your profile and ram home the most important points you want to impart to the reader / recruiter / prospect /referrer.
Tell us, no ne will interrogate you (who has the time?) but they will ask for more information.
We (and you) won’t miss what you don’t mention, then you missed opportunities. Don’t lose out.
