You recount the achievements and meaningfulness of the context they fall into, using skills as a lever to bring the reader into your camp. Because without the tease of why you, at that time, in that situation, were able to accomplish that feat, they won’t stay.
Endorsements for those skills are good. Recommendations using anecdotal examples of times you surpassed expectations are golden.
We all love the age-old story of a protagonist who was challenged, overcame, and succeeded beyond expectations.
