In the pre-pandemic days we used a pipe ( | ) in between keywords in our LinkedIn Headlines, saving space (when it was 120 characters) and making it easier for the algo to find our keywords for the Search function. Yes, it looked odd because no one writes like that but it was the style.
It was not as urgent once LinkedIn expanded the character limit to 220. And styles change. You have more room and you must get with the current image of personally speaking to the reader. Don’t make them part of your LinkedIn attire. Speak in narrative, not shorthand.
If you have pipes in your Headline, please clean them out.
