I thought this was a one-off error, but now I’ve begun seeing this more than a few times.
Not OK on any professional’s LinkedIn profile.
And I am quite astonished, especially since what’s worrisome is that this connection gets paid to pay attention to details in completing projects!
After congratulating her on a work anniversary, I saw this on her profile:
How did she let this happen? She has to approve any recommendation and should have never allowed this!
I will also opine that these are 3 somewhat milquetoast quality recommendations from 7-13 years ago.
Look at your profile now, and evaluate what’s missing (hopefully nothing as dramatic as this!), what you can update with a few major changes, and what needs to be tweaked.
