dontLinkedIn Open Networkers (LIONs) seem to be going the way of the lamb.

Thankfully, I get few, if any connection requests from LIONs any more.

Perhaps they grew up and realized that amassing so many connections (if you can call them that) was not working well or giving them a bad reputation.

Perhaps they found that the work involved was not providing the return.

Or perhaps they gave up on me alone.

All or any of the three above theories make me pleased that I am no longer bothered, along with the others they carpeted, by these promiscuous, cheap invitation requests.

In all cases when you ask for a connection, be sure it is carefully written and pointedly direct to the recipient to tell “why” you and how you can help the intended connection.
