Yes, you read it right.

My proposal to educate and enlighten their audience was rejected for that reason.

Now I can take rejection. And you have to accept it if you are an entrepreneur, but I had to reply:

“I would tend to disagree that {your clients) have no need for LinkedIn. Corporate execs in all fields and all seniorities have a need for branding themselves, their departments and their company. I teach that too.”

As I often say as the LinkedIn evangelist, “I can’t convert the heathen all of the time.”
