Many of my LinkedIn coaching clients like my assigning finite deadlines to urge them along to accomplishing a profile renovation.
If that’s what it takes, fine.
Just adhere to it for your own sake. I get it-life gets in the way and priorities overlay the next installment of a LinkedIn profile section that my coaching client needs to send me, to meet their imposed deadline.
In fact one of my current coaching clients is late now with a section.
Don’t put it upon yourself to reinvent your profile in one sitting. It will take many, and it’s a process.
Just do it, with deadlines if that’s the way you work, or at the time of day you are most creative and least distracted (It’s Saturday 612 am as I write this now).
