What’s the difference on LinkedIn?
Connections:
If you read this blog you know my strong opinions to actively vet your connections and get to know them first since connecting is a powerful privilege. That’s about all I needed to say more on that topic.
Followers:
They, on the other hand, are casual interactions that anyone can initiate to keep apprised of your latest content: posts, articles, and shares in your LinkedIn homepage feed. It’s fast to initiate and requires no approval, the rest is passive and there are no strings attached so you exert no control over who follows you.
Your company profile page attracts followers too.
So then, who follows you? Find out how to see them here.
