LinkedIn has placed its new Student app on the Apple and Google app stores, free for the downloading.
It’s aimed at current college students, designed to help them orient to job networking and contains:
- a curated source of reference articles,
- insight into past successes that alums found with selected employers who recruit for the student’s campus, and
- job titles that may be worth exploring on LinkedIn, depending on the student’s major.
Yes, there’s more in it, but believe me, no college student wants this babyboomer (or you, dear parent of a student) telling him or her what’s best to do in the LinkedIn app.
Tell your fave college student about it.
Let them explore it themselves.
