thatwasgood

One good thing leads to another and here’s another example.

I received an email from S, a referral source whom I respect and am grateful for helping me, as I in turn, help her with her colleagues, friends and clients.

Her friend will be calling.

OK. But I know well that life gets in the way and I had better call her friend or else the opportunity can slip away.

Then before I called her, she called.

(See my earlier Post on how my thoughts on how unusual that is! And after nearly 18 months the Post still rings true!)

She started the call with “I reviewed your LinkedIn profile and since S suggested you. I want to see how we can work together.”

Not if. How.

That was good.

I ended the call with an offer to connect on LinkedIn, which she accepted immediately after I sent it.

{In past blog posts I have commented with my very unscientific study that the faster a connection request is accepted, the better the probability of consummating business with him or her.}

That bodes well.

She is my type of people.
