Like a well-worn sidewalk, many people come to your LinkedIn profile.
You may never see them. But they are passing by.
They are time-crunched.
Not willing to spend a few minutes trying to figure out what you do.
Not patient enough to guess at what the acronyms and industry jargon you use stand for.
Word to the wise: not everyone who looks at your profile knows the technobabble in your world. We all have it. Make sure you define the abbreviations and use commonly understood terms.
Otherwise, they will cross over to the competitor’s side of the street and offer them the opportunity.
